On Saturday, January 13, 2018, Shelly Grossman was a panelist at Mirror Mirror…Predicting Equitable Distribution & Alimony Awards, presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Association at its Family Law Section Winter Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana.
One of three divorce masters and judges on the panel, Shelly represented the view on equitable distribution and alimony from the eastern portion of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. With fellow panel members from the western and central parts of the state, the audience learned that outcomes can be very different depending upon the jurisdiction of the case. Equitable distribution and alimony decisions are subjective.
Shelly’s well-reasoned, analytical and practical approach to property division and support in five different fact scenarios was well-received. Audience evaluations described Shelly’s preparedness and presentation as “excellent.”
