Patrick (PJ) McGinnis

Patrick (PJ) McGinnis focuses his practice on all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, equitable distribution and division of property, child and spousal support, alimony, child custody, pre/post-nuptial agreements, protection from abuse, and legal name changes. PJ is currently accepting new clients in Chester County, Montgomery County, Delaware County, and Berks County.

PJ received his B.A. in Business/Marketing from Franklin & Marshall College in 2015 and went on to graduate with a J.D. from Villanova University Charles Widger School of Law in 2018.  Throughout all his years of schooling, PJ developed his passion for family law matters and clientele by working alongside seasoned litigators in the Greater Philadelphia area.  As an attorney, PJ handles a variety of family law matters and is mindful of each client’s individual circumstances and needs. PJ also represents clients through the legal name change process, and enjoys advocating for clients during a special time in their lives.

Currently, PJ is an active member of both the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Montgomery County Bar Association. He proudly serves as a volunteer child advocate with the Montgomery Child Advocacy Project (MCAP) in Norristown, PA, and also provides free legal consultations to those in need at the Women’s Resource Center in Wayne, PA.

PJ looks forward to compassionately advocating for his clients and helping them solve even the most stressful family law issues.
