Tiffany A. Shoemaker is a partner at Potts, Shoemaker and Grossman, LLC. As a Family Law Attorney in Chester County, PA, she represents clients in all areas of family law litigation including divorce, equitable distribution, custody, support, alimony, protection from abuse, adoption and name changes. Tiffany earned a certificate of completion for mediation training in 2017 and also offers mediation services in the areas of divorce and custody. She is also a certified parenting coordinator for custody cases.

As a former Master in the Chester County Court of Common Pleas, Tiffany gained experience in custody cases as a Conciliator presiding over matters involving initial complaints, petitions to modify, petitions for special relief and emergency petitions. She also served as a Hearing Officer in Juvenile Dependency and Delinquency cases where she made recommendations protecting the safety and welfare of abused and neglected children in Chester County.

Prior to becoming a Master, Tiffany gained extensive experience in family law as an attorney at several well-respected law firms in Chester, Delaware and Lycoming Counties. Tiffany has represented clients in all areas of family law from initial petition to Superior Court appeal. She handles matters including divorce, support, custody, protection from abuse, adoption and name changes with a concentration in analysis of high income and complex assets. Tiffany also spent three years serving as Director of the Crime Victims Law Project, where she represented clients in family law matters and supervised a four-county nonprofit law project providing free legal services to victims of abuse in Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Bucks counties.

Tiffany began her legal career practicing criminal law. She gained courtroom experience as a legal intern for the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office and Philadelphia District Attorney’s office. Upon graduating from law school, she gained trial experience as an Assistant Prosecutor in Camden County, New Jersey and later transitioned to practicing criminal defense in Chester and Delaware Counties.

Tiffany is a member of both the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars. She is also a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Family Law Sections of the Chester and Delaware County Bar Associations, and is member of the board for the Doris Jonas Freed American Inn of Court.

Tiffany received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin and Marshall College in 1994 and received her Juris Doctorate from Widener University School of Law in 1998.
